Our Story
A Brewery Born from a Homebrew Shop
Kaniksu Brewing grew out of HopStop Homebrew — our homebrew supply store in Post Falls, Idaho. We've been helping homebrewers craft their own beer for years, and it felt only natural to start brewing our own. The taproom lives right inside the shop, so you can grab a pint of our latest crafted brew and browse the grain bins in the same visit.
We're named after the Kaniksu National Forest — the wild, forested land that surrounds this corner of North Idaho. That spirit of rugged independence and craftsmanship runs through everything we do, from the recipes we develop to the ingredients we stock on our shelves.
